Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of novaterraie.be and any purchase made through our site. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Who we are

Novaterra is an online store based in Belgium, importing and selling handmade artisanal crafts from America, Ecuador, and Africa. For any question, you can reach us at contact@novaterraie.be.

2. Orders

By placing an order on our site, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you're authorized to use the payment method selected. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, for example in case of a pricing or stock error, or suspected fraud.

3. Prices & payment

All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT, unless stated otherwise. Payment is required in full at the time of order. We accept Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, and Klarna.

4. Shipping & delivery

We ship across Belgium. Estimated delivery times and shipping costs are detailed on our Shipping & Returns page. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer purchasing online in Belgium, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection law. See our Shipping & Returns page for how to start a return.

6. Product descriptions

Since every item is handmade, small natural variations in color, texture, and shape may occur compared to the photos shown. These variations are a normal part of artisanal craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Novaterra or its partners, and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

Novaterra is not liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of our site or products, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct, to the extent permitted by Belgian law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under EU law.
